Dodds Lane will be closed along its entire length from Monday 19 February to Friday 23 February while Cheshire East Council jet the highways drainage to prevent flooding.

The diversion route will be along Peel Lane and The Flash.

The roads to the north and south of Astbury village green and Peel Lane between the green and School Lane will be closed on Wednesday 7 February from 10:00am to 6:30pm to allow filming.

The recommended diversion route is via Peel Lane, Moss Road, Leek Road, Biddulph Road1, Park Lane, Mountbatten Way, Rood Hill, Clayton Bypass, West Road and Newcastle Road.

Cheshire East Council will be jetting the highways drainage system on Dodds Lane which will be closed along its entire length from Monday 5 February to Friday 9 February.

The diversion will be along Peel Lane and The Flash: delays are likely.

Openreach will be working in the road to the north side of Astbury village green and near its junction with Newcastle Road (A34) on Monday 14 January.

This section of road will be closed, and all traffic diverted via the south side of the green. There will also be two-way traffic signals at the junction with Newcastle Road (A34). This is expected to cause delays.
