Cheshire East Highways have supplied us with these details of proposed roadworks in out parishes:
From 10 July to 14 July, British Telecom will be tree cutting on Chance Hall Lane between Chance Hall Cottages to Bog Hall Farm. Traffic will be controlled by two-way traffic signals.
From 14 July to 20 July, British Telecom will be carrying out cabling and splicing works on Newcastle Road (A34) between the junction with New Road and West Lodge. Traffic will be controlled by multi-way traffic signals.
On 17 July, Cheshire East Highways will be carrying out GPR (ground-penetrating radar) surveys on:
- Brook Lane, at the junction with Brownlow Heath Lane
- Wallhill Lane, at the pinchpoint near Nos. 8 and 58
- Sandbach Road (A534), at the slip road onto Wallhill Lane
In all three cases, traffic control will be by stop-go boards.
