Following the Governments latest advice, the Extraordinary Parish Council meeting scheduled for tonight (25 March) has been cancelled.
Instead, the council will be voting by email on two motions in the agenda for the meeting:
- To approve the minutes of the meeting on 11 March
- To extend delegation of Council decisions to the Clerk, in consultation with the Chairman and Vice-Chairman, during any period of restricted activity declared by the Government in respect of the COVID-19 virus, including the authorisation of any revenue spend that is in the approved budget. Such delegation is to enable the Council to fulfil its responsibilities to its residents.
The votes on these motions will be minuted and the minutes published on the website.
