The Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group have completed their revision of the draft Neighbourhood Plan following the ‘Regulation 14’ pre-submission public consultation, and the Parish Council has now submitted to Cheshire East Council all the documents required by Regulation 15 of the Localism Act’s Neighbourhood Planning Regulations.
These documents are:
- The Neighbourhood Pan itself. This final version of the submitted plan contains a map not included in the printed copy distributed to all households in the two parishes: this note describes the difference
- The Statement of Basic Conditions describes how our plan meets other planning regulations, including the National Planning Policy Framework and Cheshire East’s emerging Local Plan
- The Statement of Consultation shows who and how the Parish Council consulted, and the way feedback was used to revise the plan
Following their receipt, Cheshire East Council opened public consultation on the revised plan, as laid down by Regulation 16 of the Neighbourhood Planning Regulations. This consultation period ended on 3 April 2017. For more details of the consultation, and in particular the responses received by Cheshire East, see this page on the Cheshire East Council website.
